SPEAKER_00:

Welcome to Wisdom for the Day. In a world that keeps shifting, this is where we return to what holds us steady. Let's begin today grounded, focused, and standing strong. Today is day twenty. You are guided by God's wisdom. From Proverbs chapter three, verses five and six from the New Living Translation. Trust in the Lord with all your heart. Do not depend on your own understanding. Seek His will and all you do, and He will show you which path to take. Life is full of decisions. Some feel small and routine, others are heavy and overwhelming. And if we're honest, most of our stress comes from not knowing which direction to go next. We replay conversations, we weigh options, we second guess ourselves, we wonder if we're about to make the wrong move. We live in the past. God knows that tension. That's why he speaks directly to it. Proverbs doesn't tell us to trust God a little or only when things make sense. It calls us to trust him with all our heart, even when our understanding runs out. Standing strong in your identity means recognizing that you don't have to figure everything out before taking the next step. God never asked you to be all-knowing, He asked you to be willing. Depending on your own understanding feels safe because it's familiar, but it's limited. God sees what you can't see. He knows what's ahead, what needs to be healed, what doors should stay closed, and which ones need to be opened at the right time. When you surrender control and seek His will, He promises direction, not confusion. That doesn't always mean instant clarity. Sometimes it means peace before the path is fully revealed. Sometimes it means taking an obedient step, one step at a time. But God is faithful to guide those who genuinely seek Him. You're not wandering aimlessly, you're being led. So if you're standing at a crossroads today, unsure of what to do next, take comfort in this. God is not silent, God is not absent. God is not indifferent. He's guiding you even when the way forward feels unclear. Let's pray. Lord God, I choose to trust you with all my heart. Help me release the need to understand everything and teach me to lean fully on your wisdom. Show me the steps you want me to take and give me the courage to follow wherever you lead. In Jesus' name I pray. Amen. All right. Before making any big decision today, before making any decision, big or small, pause and pray. Lord, what do you want me to do? Then listen, trust, and take the next step in faith. All right, I'll see you tomorrow. Wisdom for the Day is produced by Lauren King, recorded at the Upper Room Studios with intro and outro music by Weston McCurry. I'm Rick Yuha.
