Welcome to Wisdom for the Day. In a world that keeps shifting, this is where we return to what holds us steady. Let's begin today grounded, focused, and standing strong. Today is day 24. You are a citizen of heaven from Philippians chapter 3, verse 20 from the New Living Translation. Paul writes, We are citizens of heaven where the Lord Jesus Christ lives. It's Saturday, and I am not Lauren. She's uh been busy, she's had some stuff to take care of and hadn't been able to get to the studio, but she'll be back real soon. Bear with me. But I am so glad that we're here together. And today we're talking about where we really belong. This world is not our final home. As a citizen of heaven, you live with a different perspective. You don't have to cling to the temporary things of this world because you have an eternal inheritance waiting for you. Standing strong in your identity means living with your eyes fixed on eternity. You're here on assignment, but your true home is with Christ. Pray with me. Lord God, thank you for my citizenship and that it's in heaven. Help me to live each day with eternity in mind and to invest in what matters most. In Jesus' precious name I pray. Amen. Today, do one thing that's going to impact eternity. Share your faith, serve somebody in need, just give generously, just do something. All right. I'll see you tomorrow for another weekend devotional.
